Using Paper Pumpkin Stamps

Some days I struggle finding the right sentiment for a card I am working on. Today, as I was cleaning up my craft room and decided to finish some cards from past kits and some scraps I had laying around. I also used the ink spots I received from the Paper Pumpkin kits. Simple Christmas Card using Memories and More Petal Garden Pack Item #144208,  Emerald Envy CS#141415, Real Red CS #102482

The butterfly is from a retired kit. I stamped in Crushed Curry Ink #131173

The anchor on this card is from Guy Greetings #137178. The DSP is retired. 

This entire card besides the sentiment is from the retired card kit.

Trying to find a way to use these gold hearts was challenging. The gold strip is also from the retired card kit.

This card was so fun to make.

Curvy Keepsake Scarecrow Treat Box

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a little while, my family and I went on vacation to Disney World and then to see our son graduate from his MOS school in the Marines. Here is one of my FAVORITE holiday dies, the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Die. Item # 135853 $33.00. http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/melissahanson/catalogs I used very vanilla card stock Item #101650 and scraps of fall colors. In the spirit of fall, even though it's 90 degrees here in Texas, here is my scarecrow treat box I made at a scrapbook and stamping retreat.  You can fit a mini M&M and Skittles bag and some small candy in there.  My nephews love these treat boxes. I will make more for the holidays and post them. The ideas are endless. Pinterest has a lot of great ideas of how to use this versatile die.

Easter Cards

Hi Everyone! Did a little crafting this weekend. I worked on two Easter Cards using Easter Message Item #142987 http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/melissahanson/ The Easter Message Stamp Set (Item #142987) is such a wonderful set. Reminding us of the true meaning of Easter.  Using the palm leaves and colored them with the water color pencils and then cut them out. For the sentiment and Easter Lily I stamped the directly to the card stock. I then stamped the Easter Lily on Whisper White card stock and cut it out adhering the Easter Lilies over the stamped image. I hope you enjoyed these cards.
